Daniel, 44, is a loving husband and father of four who was recently diagnosed with silicosis. Fortunately for Daniel, it was identified early during a routine medical check-up. The early diagnosis meant he was a candidate for a Whole Lung Lavage trial being carried out at The Prince Charles Hospital and supported by The Common Good.
In October this year, Noela was admitted to The Prince Charles Hospital for treatment of her chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and an existing heart condition. While she was so grateful for the wonderful care she received at the hospital, Noela couldn’t wait to get back to the comfort and familiarity of her own home. It was at the top of her Christmas wish list.
