Together, let’s cure homesickness

Kids are admitted to hospital for all sorts of reasons, but there’s one kind of sickness that unites them all: homesickness. And Australia is coming together to try to beat it.

The Common Good is proud to be a part of the Curing Homesickness initiative that has brought hospitals around Australia together to help get sick kids home faster. We believe that kids don’t belong in hospital, they belong at home. Money raised will go towards helping kids in hospital back home where they belong by investing in vital funding needs such as medical research, the latest equipment and the amazing health professionals who deliver the care our children need. Funds will also be used to cure homesickness by developing services to connect kids to home while in hospital and making them feel a bit more at home during their hospital stay.

Coles have come on board to help raise much-needed funds for this campaign. You can buy a jar of the real deal Mum’s Sause at your local Coles supermarket. 50c of every jar sold goes towards getting kids home from hospital sooner.

A little comfort from home, just like Mum’s pasta Sause can really go a long way. Make sure to pick up your jar of Mum’s Sause today and help bring sick kids home from hospital sooner.
