The Common Good are proud to partner with Lite n’ Easy for second year running

Media Release

The Common Good are proud to announce Lite n’ Easy – Australia’s favourite meal delivery service – have come on board as partners for a second year running. Last year Lite n’ Easy customers raised over $44,000. This year they hope to raise $50,000 for life-saving and life-changing medical research time that supports The Common Good’s critical research areas; lung disease, heart disease, mental health, and dementia.

This research ensures Australians have the best chance of living healthy, full, and happy lives with a stronger chance of preventing and recovering from severe health conditions. Conditions which can affect anyone, at any point in their life.

CEO of Lite n’ Easy, Dennis Stark, said the continuation of the partnership made perfect sense to the company, whose values were perfectly aligned with those of The Common Good.

“Lite n’ Easy is committed to helping customers lead healthier, longer, more active lives. Something The Common Good’s research is actively helping Australians do at a fundamental level.”

“If by delivering healthy, tasty food to our customers we can also help fund such important research, it’s a winning situation for everyone.” Said Mr Stark.

Lite n’ Easy’s generosity is commended and greatly appreciated by The Common Good’s CEO Michael Hornby, who said of Lite n’ Easy joining for a second year:

“When Lite n’ Easy – a household name synonymous with good-health across Australia, partnered with us last year – and were so generous with their time and money, it was more than we ever could have hoped for. That they’ve come on board for a second year running and matched their generosity buck for buck is incredible, we couldn’t be more grateful”

“Lite n’ Easy customers will be able to choose a research area that matters most to them, making each donation personal. It gives a sense of empowerment to each contributor.” Mr Hornby said.

“Our sincere and heartfelt gratitude goes out to Lite n’ Easy, and to all who contribute, your money is going straight into life-saving research that leads to longer, healthier lives.”
