Volunteering opportunities with The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation are mostly based in Brisbane. These opportunities include joining the Charlie's Angels, a group of volunteers who dedicate their time to support patients, families and carers at The Prince Charles Hospital and volunteering to scoop the iconic Strawberry Sundaes at the Ekka.
The Charlie’s Angels Volunteers are a group of local community members who dedicate their time to support patients, families, carers and staff at The Prince Charles Hospital. Wearing their yellow shirts with pride, they support all areas of the hospital from admissions to emergency, performing a range of roles from welcoming visitors to providing administration support.
The Charlie's Angels Volunteers are proudly sponsored by Kedron Wavell Services Club.
We run a number of community and fundraising events throughout the year. If you would like to donate your time for The Common Good, please register your expression of interest by clicking the button below:
This year the Ekka runs from Saturday 7th August - Sunday 15th August, and we are relying on over 2000 amazing volunteers to help us serve the iconic Strawberry Sundaes!
Volunteering on these stalls is much more than simply scooping ice-cream and satisfying those hungry patrons at the show. Your time helps us fund innovative medical discoveries that will both profoundly improve and save lives, right here in Brisbane.
Be quick—shifts are limited and are sure to be scooped up soon!
