Volunteering opportunities with The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation are mostly based in Brisbane. These opportunities include joining the Charlie's Angels, a group of volunteers who dedicate their time to support patients, families and carers at The Prince Charles Hospital and volunteering to scoop the iconic Strawberry Sundaes at the Ekka.
The Charlie’s Angels Volunteers are a group of local community members who dedicate their time to support patients, families, carers and staff at The Prince Charles Hospital. Wearing their yellow shirts with pride, they support all areas of the hospital from admissions to emergency, performing a range of roles from welcoming visitors to providing administration support.
The Charlie's Angels Volunteers are proudly sponsored by Kedron Wavell Services Club.
For 33 years, The Common Good has brought the iconic Strawberry Sundaes to the Ekka to raise money for medical research. Over the years, our Super Scooper volunteers became an imperative part of the Strawberry Sundae experience, with over 2,000 volunteers helping us each year to make this the best event possible.
Even though this year is different, we still need our dedicated volunteers to help us deliver a unique experience at our exclusive pop up Strawberry Sundae Stalls located around Brisbane over the 10 days of EKKA week (7-16 August).
