Every day, doctors, nurses, and frontline medical staff at Caboolture Hospital roll up their sleeves to provide the highest possible level of care to meet and exceed the needs of our community.
Nowhere is this more apparent than within the children’s ward where the highest level of care is provided to our most vulnerable patients.
Not every piece of equipment can receive immediate Government funding.
That’s why The Common Good is going big and is seeking the support of business and community leaders within Caboolture and the Moreton Bay region who understand the importance of supporting their local hospital.
Together we're going to raise $100,000 and fund not one, but two, crucial projects to improve the care of kids on the ward.
We know it’s a huge target, particularly for our first ever Caboolture Hospital appeal, but we know the hospital and community need it.
Every year, over 3000 kids are admitted to Caboolture Hospital.
Every hospital should have the resources they need to reflect the level of care provided by their healthcare staff. We're working with the Caboolture community to bring those resources to our local hospital, today.
IMPROVING KIDS' CARE AT CABOOLTURE HOSPITAL
Kids should be able to feel like kids. That’s why with your help, we're aiming to create an improved, vibrant play area for children visiting Caboolture Hospital.
Not only will this provide a welcome distraction from their hospital stay, it will also create an environment for children to be active and engaged whilst they recover.
Not every newborn has a smooth start in life. For families with a baby with complex needs, knowing your hospital has the resources it needs to provide them with the very best care means the world.
The Giraffe OmniBed is a special piece of equipment that uses advanced monitoring and environmental controls to create a safe and peaceful environment for our most vulnerable patients.
It is used for very sick infants requiring resuscitation, as well as for newborns requiring complex care whilst under observation. Newborns may need the OmniBed for a few hours, or up to two days.
As the Caboolture Hospital community continues to grow, more infants will need access to this crucial piece of equipment. By funding a new OmniBed for Caboolture Hospital, more babies can benefit from it's life-saving technology, and staff can provide an even higher level of care to their littlest patients.
Together we're going to raise $100,000, and fund two vital projects for our local hospital. Kids from any age should be able to receive the very best care, with the very best equipment as close to home as possible.
Donate today to help us make this dream a reality for Caboolture's kids and their families.
